The OT has a limited number of sample slots. There are ways around that:

Slicing

(As popularised by SecretMusic and others)

  1. In an audio editor, make one WAV file containing a chain of drum hits, each equally spaced. The number of hits should correspond to how many slices you want in the OT, eg 16.
  2. Assign it to a track
  3. Slice it, and p-lock the slice selector to trigger different hits

This can be further enhanced by using chains with layered sounds and tonal material.

Parts

Using different samples: Assign different parts to different patterns. This could be done in groups, eg, Patts 1-4 -> Part 1, Patts 5-8->Part 2, Patt 9-12 -> Part 3, Patts 13-16 -> Part 4

If your resampling is getting you down, try using a new part and pattern when you want to move on with a blank canvas and use your resampled bounce. Hope that makes sense.
